Volleyball Recap: Sturgis Comes Up Short

Sturgis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kalamazoo Christian Comets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Sturgis' loss dropped their record down to 7-20-3. As for Kalamazoo Christian, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 23-14-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sturgis will welcome Three Rivers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kalamazoo Christian, they will host South Haven at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
