While Addyson Hauptman delivered a dominant performance on Monday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Gainesville. Hauptman wasn't messing around, getting 12 digs and one assist. The contest was her fourth straight with 12 or more digs dating back to last season.

Hauptman and Gainesville will be playing at home against The Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hurricanes are 7-2 against the Lions going back to September of 2020, a lead they'll look to extend.
