Softball Recap: West Central Area Comes Up Short

The West Central Area Knights came up short against the Browerville Tigers on Monday and fell 11-8.

Ella Mickelson stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Izzy Puchalski was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and two doubles.

West Central Area's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Browerville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Central Area will face off against Luverne at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Browerville, they will venture away from home to challenge Swanville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
