Volleyball Recap: Knox Comes Up Short

Knox lost against Culver Community back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Redskins fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 3-2. The Redskins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Knox came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 28-26, 25-22, 23-25, 15-12.

Despite the loss, Knox still got an impressive performance from Addison Sponaugle, who had 36 digs and five aces.

Knox's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Culver Community, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.

Knox will take on Argos at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Culver Community, they have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Westville on the 7th.
