Baseball Recap: Culver City Takes a Loss

Culver City and South squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Culver City had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Centaurs have suffered since May 14, 2024.

Culver City's loss dropped their record down to 19-9. As for South, they pushed their record up to 16-13 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Culver City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South, they will venture away from home to take on Sonora at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Spartans 3.8, the Raiders 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
