Volleyball Recap: Kentwood Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Kentwood was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Kennedy Catholic on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Conquerors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tahoma Bears on Wednesday. The Conquerors have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Kentwood started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 11-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-19.

Kentwood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Tahoma, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kentwood is set to square off against their familiar foe Auburn Riverside at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tahoma will challenge rival Mt. Rainier at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
