Montclair is 8-2 against Garey since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cavaliers will square off against the Vikings at 5:00 p.m.

Montclair came up short against Claremont on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Garey hadn't beaten Ganesha on the road since October 3, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Vikings skirted past the Giants 3-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 22, 2022, but that streak is no more.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Garey who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-23, 23-25, 25-23, 23-25, 15-13.

The victory got Garey back to even at 3-3. As for Montclair, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Montclair beat Garey 3-1 in their previous meeting back in August of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavaliers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
