Recap: Tanner Rattlers vs. Elkmont Red Devils

The Tanner Rattlers had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Elkmont with a sharp 67-46 win. Tanner has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

Tanner's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tailan Hall led the charge by scoring 12 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cade Dorning, who scored 15 points.

Tanner has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Elkmont, they dropped their record down to 6-19 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Tanner will challenge the Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. West Limestone is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Elkmont, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Hornets at 7:30 p.m. Hatton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully the Red Devils likes a good challenge.
