Soccer Recap: Burlington Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Burlington Christian Academy lost against Caldwell Academy back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Royals came up short against the Eagles, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Burlington Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 448th, while Caldwell Academy are ranked 58th).

Burlington Christian Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Caldwell Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Burlington Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 5-0 defeat against Calvary Day School on the 19th. As for Caldwell Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 4-0 win against High Point Christian Academy on the 19th.
