Mountainair extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Brody Brazil. The Mountainair Mustangs really took it to the Carrizozo Grizzlies for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-23 win thanks to Brazil, who went 7-for-13 from beyond the arc to rack up 27 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15 points per game.

Marcos Sisneros was another key player, going 6-for-12 en route to 14 points along with four blocks and three steals. What's more, he also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January of 2024.

Mountainair's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-6. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to assists: they averaged an imposing 7.75 assists in those games compared to only 7.75 in the others. As for Carrizozo, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.
