Basketball Recap: Covington Takes a Loss

Covington lost against Northridge back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Covington Buccs had to suffer through a 86-40 loss at the hands of the Northridge Polar Bears. The Buccs were down 71-39 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Covington is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Northridge, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Covington will be home for the holidays to greet Milton-Union at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Covington is facing Milton-Union at the right time seeing as Milton-Union is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Northridge, they are taking a road trip to challenge Bethel at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
