Softball Recap: Miles Gets the Win

Miles won the last time they faced McCamey and things went their way on Saturday too. The Miles Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 victory over the McCamey Badgers.

The team relied heavily on Audrina Alfan, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1. The team also got some help courtesy of Laci Petrey, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Miles was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Miles now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for McCamey, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Miles has already played their next contest, a 14-13 loss against Brady on the 17th. As for McCamey, they will be taking part in a tournament against Compass Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
