Baseball Recap: Enterprise Wins Going Away Against Daphne

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Enterprise had no problem doing just that on Friday. They put the hurt on the Daphne Trojans with a sharp 12-1 win. Considering the Wildcats have won 16 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Brady Richardson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Cayden Boutwell, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Enterprise was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in seven consecutive contests.

Enterprise's record now sits at 29-1. As for Daphne, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-15.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Enterprise beat the Trojans by a score of 1-0 later that day.
