Volleyball Recap: Midland Legacy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Midland Legacy can now relate to. They came up short against the Eastlake Falcons on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Rebels haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Leading Eastlake to victory were Addison Carrillo and Alayna Rodarte-Clemente. Carrillo had 13 digs and two aces, while Rodarte-Clemente had 11 digs and two aces. Carrillo has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 14 times she's played.

Midland Legacy's defeat dropped their record down to 31-14. As for Eastlake, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-4 record this season.

Midland Legacy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eastlake, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Keller on the 4th.
