Volleyball Recap: Moorhead Takes a Loss

Moorhead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the St. Michael-Albertville Knights, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spuds of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

While Moorhead had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-21.

Moorhead's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for St. Michael-Albertville, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 15-13.

Moorhead has already played their next match (against Nevis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. St. Michael-Albertville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
