Soccer Game Preview: Roosevelt vs. Madera

The Roosevelt Rough Riders will challenge the Madera Coyotes at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Madera better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Roosevelt's game on Wednesday is any indication, that's when Roosevelt really gets things going. The Rough Riders never let Hoover get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Roosevelt haven't had any issues with Hoover recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Madera and Central finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw on Friday. The outcome might've been different if Jose L. Hernandez hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Madera's goal came courtesy of Jayden Perez, which was the first he's scored this season.

With that draw, Madera's record moves to 0-11-3. As for Roosevelt, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4-5.
