West Ranch waltzed into their game on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Valencia Vikings by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

West Ranch had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-18, 25-15, 28-26.

Noah Douphner paced West Ranch's offense, picking up 19 kills. Douphner got some help from Jackson Manansala and his 38 assists.

West Ranch pushed their record up to 21-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Valencia, their loss dropped their record down to 17-7.

West Ranch wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Paraclete on the 17th. As for Valencia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Canyon on the 17th.
