Baseball Recap: Eagle Grove Comes Up Short

Eagle Grove managed to slip by North Union the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles lost 7-1 to the Warriors on Tuesday. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 10-8.

This is the second loss in a row for Eagle Grove and nudges their season record down to 5-15. As for North Union, their victory bumped their record up to 8-13.

Coming up, Eagle Grove will be playing in front of their home fans against North Iowa at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles are facing the Bison at the right time seeing as the Bison are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for North Union, they will head out to square off against Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire on Saturday.
