Soccer Recap: Virginia High Takes a Loss

Virginia High was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lebanon Pioneers. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Virginia High couldn't quite close it out.

Virginia High's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lebanon, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Virginia High will take on John Battle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lebanon, they will head out to square off against Honaker at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
