Park City waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 60-50 victory over the Granger Lancers. While the Miners didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Park City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luke Rice, who went 6-for-14 en route to 23 points and six boards. Rice is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 18 every time he's taken the court this season. Bridger Lapine was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.
Park City's record is now 4-1. As for Granger, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Looking ahead, Park City will host Wasatch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Granger, they will head out on the road to face off against Maple Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
