Football Game Recap: Appleton City/Montrose vs. Sherwood

Sherwood have been struggling to pick up a victory, and their game against Appleton City/Montrose on Friday only made it nine winless games in a row. Sherwood were dealt a punishing 20-60 defeat at the hands of Appleton City/Montrose. The state rankings had actually given Sherwood a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

Sherwood are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-9. The win bumped Appleton City/Montrose's record up to 4-5. Both of these squads appear to be finished for the season, as they have no upcoming games scheduled.
