Eureka has gone a perfect 4-0 against Parkway Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Wildcats will look to defend their home court against the Colts at 5:45 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Eureka has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Parkway Central will arrive with four straight wins.

Eureka is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Missouri's top teams: Marquette, who was ranked sixth at the time (Eureka was ranked 20th). The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Mustangs on Thursday.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Marquette scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Parkway Central got the win against Ritenour on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

While Parkway Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15, 25-22.

Parkway Central had a senior duo take command as Spencer Duvall had 12 assists and five digs and Grant Klasing had 11 digs.

Eureka's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Parkway Central, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4-1.

Eureka skirted past Parkway Central 3-2 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Colts have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
