If Mesquite wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played DeSoto, they should've done a better job of containing Angel Lynch. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 60-36 margin over the Skeeters on Friday thanks in part to Lynch, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.4 steals per game.

DeSoto is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Mesquite, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.
