Football Recap: Cedar Cliff Piles Up the Points Against Cedar Crest

There's no place like home for Cedar Cliff, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They really took it to the Cedar Crest Falcons for the full four quarters, racking up a 35-6 win. Considering the Colts have won four contests by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

One reason for the win was Cedar Cliff's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for nine sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Secrest and Will Kocher, who racked up seven sacks between them. Kocher has been hot for a while, having also posted five or more total tackles the last 17 times he's played.

Cedar Cliff now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Cedar Crest, they dropped their record down to 5-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Cedar Cliff will venture away from home to face off against Central York at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Colts' defense better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 42.2 points per game this season. Cedar Crest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
