Football Recap: Fort Wayne Northrop Beats Fort Wayne Snider for Their Third Straight Victory

Fort Wayne Northrop had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 21-point drubbing they dealt Fort Wayne Snider on Friday. The Bruins were the clear victors by a 35-14 margin over the Panthers. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21-0.

It was another big night for David Callison, who threw for 335 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per attempt. Those 335 passing yards gave him a new career-high. A healthy portion of Callison's aerial production (81 yards to be exact) went to Jaxson Robinson, who also brought in two receiving touchdowns.

Fort Wayne Northrop didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dee Hogue and Kamarii Underwood. Hogue is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least eight every time he's taken the field this season.

The victory (which was Fort Wayne Northrop's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.3 points over those games. As for Fort Wayne Snider, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
