Volleyball Recap: Middletown Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Middletown unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Caesar Rodney Riders by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Riders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Middletown has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Dover on the 8th. As for Caesar Rodney, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Wilmington Christian on the 9th.
