Softball Recap: Portland Highlanders vs. East Hampton Bellringers

Portland extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping their season record down to 2-7 in the process. They lost 24-0 to the East Hampton Bellringers. If the Highlanders were looking for revenge after losing 25-7 to the Bellringers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Portland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-0 victory against Morgan on the 28th. As for East Hampton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 21-10 win against Westbrook on the 28th.
