Softball Recap: Raymond Beats Somersworth for Their Third Straight Victory

While Raymond's victory against Somersworth wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Toppers 5-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Rams, who have now won three games in a row.

Sophie Huynh was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. Those stolen bases marked the first that she has snagged this season. Sydney Wells was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Raymond now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Somersworth, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Raymond will welcome Epping at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Somersworth, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Gilford at 4:00 p.m.
