Basketball Recap: Islip Takes a Loss

Islip was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-56 heartbreaker at the hands of the Harborfields Tornadoes. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Buccaneers have suffered since December 16, 2025.

Islip's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Harborfields, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Looking ahead, Islip will be playing in front of their home fans against Half Hollow Hills West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harborfields, they will head out to face off against West Islip at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
