Navarre is 8-2 against Milton since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Raiders will be playing at home against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Navarre is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.
On Friday, Navarre needed a bit of extra time to put away Tate. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Aggies. The win was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won three contests in a row.
Kayden Riddle made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over nine innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Those 12 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kylie Pearson, who scored two runs while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nadia Rivera, who scored three runs while going 2-for-5.
Navarre kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 7-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Milton never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on Baker with a sharp 9-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.
The result came thanks to Chloe Norman's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Alexis Hawthorne was excellent, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. Destiny Dennis was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
Navarre pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Milton, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Navarre took their win against Milton when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 17-2 score. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
