Volleyball Recap: Greenwich Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Greenwich entered their tilt with Joel Barlow on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Falcons. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Greenwich had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-20.

Greenwich found their leader in sophomore Bailee Dayon, who had 14 digs and three aces. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Dayon.

Greenwich's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Joel Barlow, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Greenwich has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Ludlowe on the 16th. As for Joel Barlow, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Pomperaug on the 15th.
