Soccer Recap: Andrean Victorious

Andrean lost to Morgan Township back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Fighting 59ers had just enough and edged out the Cherokees 2-1.

Fabian Medina was the driving force of Andrean's attack as he scored both of Andrean's goals, bringing his season total up to two goals.

Andrean is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those five games. As for Morgan Township, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Andrean will venture away from home to face off against Munster at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
