Crossings Christian took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Christian Heritage, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Crusaders 2-1.

Crossings Christian's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 15-18. As for Christian Heritage, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-15 record this season.

Crossings Christian has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Oklahoma Christian on the 4th. As for Christian Heritage, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Carl Albert at 6:00 p.m. The Titans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight.
