Pawhuska won the last time they faced Newkirk and things went their way on Friday too. The Pawhuska Huskies claimed a resounding 60-29 victory over the Newkirk Tigers. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 25 points or more this season.

Pawhuska was led to victory by Brooklyn Miles and Hannah Reynolds. Miles dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds, while Reynolds went 7 for 13 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points in addition to six boards and three blocks. Miles is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Emillie Curry, who posted six points and four steals.

Pawhuska smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in nine consecutive contests.

Pawhuska is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points over those games. As for Newkirk, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.
