Standley Lake has gone 9-1 against Littleton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Gators will venture away from home to take on the Lions at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Thursday, Standley Lake came up short against Dakota Ridge and fell 11-6.

Standley Lake saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keyvon Ferrin, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Marc Garcia was another, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Littleton also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Denver South by a score of 9-4.

Standley Lake has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Littleton, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Standley Lake was able to grind out a solid victory over Littleton when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 10-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gators since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
