Baseball Recap: Earlville Falls to Gardner-South Wilmington in First Game of Season

Earlville had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers on Monday, falling 17-2. If the Red Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 22-4 to the Panthers when the teams met back in May of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Earlville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaden Browder, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Looking ahead, Earlville will square off against Ashton-Franklin Center at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Panthers coming up.
