Volleyball Game Preview: Riverton Parke Panthers vs. Covington Trojans

Riverton Parke hasn't had much luck against Covington recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Panthers will take on the Trojans at 12:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Riverton Parke is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Attica. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Meanwhile, Covington got the win against Fountain Central on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Covington found their leader in sophomore Alexus Peaslee, who had five digs and four aces.

Riverton Parke's victory bumped their record up to 25-5. As for Covington, their win bumped their record up to 18-12.

Riverton Parke beat Covington 3-1 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
