Basketball Recap: J.L. Mann Has No Trouble Against Atlantic Collegiate Academy

J.L. Mann had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada 59-39.

Atlantic Collegiate Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Angelina Collins, who shot 45% from the field on her way to 12 points and five boards. DaZena Capers was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

J.L. Mann wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-38 win against A.C. Reynolds on the 28th. As for Atlantic Collegiate Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Brookland-Cayce at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
