Soccer Recap: Rutland Takes a Loss

Rutland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jackson Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Jackson this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in March.

Rutland's record now sits at 5-11. As for Jackson, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-11.

As of now, neither Rutland nor the Red Devils have any future games scheduled.
