Soccer Recap: Wilson Central Comes Up Short

If Wilson Central was feeling good fresh off their 9-4 takedown of Portland on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against the Lipscomb Academy Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 5-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Wilson Central of the 4-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Coming up, Wilson Central will head out to take on Smyrna at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give Wilson Central their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Lipscomb Academy, they will be playing at home against Summit at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
