Baseball Recap: Ross Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

While Ross's victory against Springfield wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Little Giants had just enough and edged out the Blue Devils 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Little Giants as they're now sitting on three straight.

Cameron Joseph was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Ross is 6-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-6 otherwise. Joseph was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.

In other batting news, Robert Rich Jr was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Ross' victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Springfield, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Ross will venture away from home to face off against Sandusky at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Springfield, they will welcome Anthony Wayne at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
