Baseball Recap: Trinity Prep Comes Up Short

Trinity Prep extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 1-3. They came up short against the Bishop Moore Hornets, falling 16-4. The Saints were not able to make up for their loss to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in March of 2025.

Trinity Prep saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Robinson, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

As for Bishop Moore, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average this season.

On Bishop Moore's side, Matthew Cloutier looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Nate Davis was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Will Kane, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Coming up, Trinity Prep will take on The Master's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Saints' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season. As for Bishop Moore, they will face off against Oviedo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
