Baseball Recap: Trinity Prep Takes a Loss

Trinity Prep had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 1-3 to make it six. They came up short against the Bishop Moore Hornets, falling 16-4. The Saints were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in March of 2025.

Trinity Prep saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Robinson, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

As for Bishop Moore, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 11.6 runs this season.

On Bishop Moore's side, Matthew Cloutier looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Nate Davis was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Will Kane was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Trinity Prep wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-1 loss against The Master's Academy on the 25th. As for Bishop Moore, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-0 victory against Oviedo on the 26th.
