Baseball Recap: Victory Christian Takes a Loss

Victory Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to the Russell Christian Academy Warriors. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Victory Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Hudson, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Victory Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Russell Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Victory Christian will host Tuscaloosa Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Russell Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' match: after the Eagles faces off against the Warriors, they'll take on Russell Christian Academy again at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th.
