Volleyball Recap: Harding University Comes Up Short

Harding University lost against Berry on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams lost 3-0 to the Cardinals.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-13, 25-7.

Berry was led to victory by Sanye Miller and Sclari Encarnacion. Miller had six aces and three assists, while Encarnacion had five aces. Those five aces gave Encarnacion a new career-high.

Harding University's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Berry, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Harding University will face off against rival Olympic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Berry is set to take on their familiar foe Central Cabarrus at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
