Volleyball Recap: Chamblee Comes Up Short

Chamblee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Westminster Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Yana Barga paced Chamblee's offense, picking up five kills. Barga were helped by Emma Lane and Emmy Liang, who contributed five assists each.

Chamblee's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Westminster, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Chamblee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Northside on the 16th. As for Westminster, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Wesleyan on the 16th.
