Urbana had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Indian Lake on Thursday. The Hillclimbers blew past the Lakers 8-2. Surprisingly, this marked the Hillclimbers' seventh straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Urbana's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-12. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Indian Lake, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.
