Football Recap: John Marshall Monarchs vs. Warren Warriors
John Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 24-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warren Warriors. The Monarchs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Among those leading the charge was Jacob Sealey, who threw for 215 yards and two touchdowns.
John Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Warren, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
John Marshall will stay at home for another week and welcome Keyser at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keyser will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something John Marshall surely won't give up without a fight. As for Warren, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Point Pleasant at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Warren is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 29 points per game this season.
