Football Game Preview: Northbridge Rams vs. Nipmuc Regional Warriors + How To Watch

The Northbridge Rams will square off against the Nipmuc Regional Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Nipmuc Regional will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Northbridge extended their winning streak to three on Saturday. The Rams put the hurt on Blackstone Valley RVT with a sharp 32-6 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Rams just coasted through the last quarter.

Meanwhile, Nipmuc Regional got themselves on the board against Assabet Valley RVT on Saturday, but Assabet Valley RVT never followed suit. They blew past the Aztecs 48-0. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Aztecs: they've now won three in a row.

Northbridge better keep an eye on Eben Consigli. He was instrumental in Nipmuc Regional's win, rushing for 117 yards and two scores on only nine carries, while also picking up 46 receiving yards. Those 117 rushing yards gave Consigli a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tyler Rainbow, who rushed for 53 yards and a pair of TDs on only five carries.

Nipmuc Regional was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 264 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive games.

Northbridge's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Nipmuc Regional, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
