It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Texas Wind can now relate to. They lost to the Gloria Deo Academy Lions on the road by a 33-16 margin on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 59 points in the game before, Texas Wind couldn't push the score so high this time.

Despite the loss, Texas Wind saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jai Johnson posted nine points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played.
